Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 July 2026
This notice covers the main Simlyst website and its AI-consultancy enquiry journey. Proof by Simlyst has a separate product privacy policy.
1. Who controls your information
SIMLYST LIMITED, company number 14026434, trading as Simlyst, is the controller for the processing described here and serves clients nationally across the United Kingdom.
2. Information we collect
Consultation requests
Consultation requests are submitted through an external Google Form rather than stored in a Simlyst website database. The form asks for the information shown on the form, such as contact and business context needed to review and respond to the request. Please do not submit passwords, special-category information, or confidential client data.
Technical delivery data
Hosting and security providers may process standard request information such as an IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested path, and error details to deliver and protect this website. Consultation answers are submitted directly to Google Forms and are not included in Simlyst website application logs.
3. Why we use it
- To review and respond to a consultation request and, where relevant, take steps towards a requested engagement.
- To maintain website security and diagnose technical failures.
- To meet applicable legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations.
Depending on the context, the lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, or Simlyst’s legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and securing the service. The consultation acknowledgement is not consent to marketing.
4. Processors and sharing
Google processes consultation submissions as the provider of Google Forms, and authorised Simlyst personnel access responses through Simlyst’s controlled Google account. Google’s own privacy policy explains its processing. Google may use approved international-transfer safeguards under its applicable data-processing terms. Simlyst does not sell consultation information or disclose it to unrelated advertisers.
Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to protect legal rights or service security, or to professional advisers under appropriate duties of confidence.
5. Retention
Google Form responses are reviewed periodically and kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the enquiry, manage any resulting engagement, and meet applicable legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations.
This approach follows the ICO’s storage-limitation guidance: personal data should not be kept longer than necessary for its stated purpose.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection to processing. To make a request, use the contact page and state that it is a privacy request. Simlyst may need to verify your identity.
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
7. Security and changes
Simlyst uses access controls, limited collection, retention reviews, and encrypted provider transport. No internet service can promise absolute security. Material changes to this notice will be published here with a revised date.
