Getting started

What is Proof?

Proof is a Shopify app that publishes SEO blog content grounded in your real product catalog, and shows the organic revenue each post drives.

How do I install Proof?

Install it from the Shopify App Store, approve the requested permissions, and complete a short onboarding: connect your product catalog, set your brand tone, and choose your posting cadence.

Do I need any technical setup or coding?

No. Proof runs inside your Shopify admin with no code or theme changes required.

How it works

Where does the content come from?

Every post is generated from your actual Shopify product catalog, so it references your real products rather than generic copy.

Does Proof publish automatically?

Yes. In autopilot mode, Proof generates and publishes posts on the cadence set by your plan. Your content moves through clear stages — scheduled, then published.

Will the content match my brand?

Yes. You set a content tone (for example, Friendly, Expert, Playful, or Premium) and a list of words to avoid, and Proof follows them.

What is the posting cadence for each plan?

Starter publishes up to 8 posts per month (about 2 per week), Growth up to 20 per month (about 5 per week), and Scale up to 30 per month (about daily).

Revenue attribution

How does Proof know which sales came from my blog?

Proof attributes verified organic revenue to your published posts, counting only real orders. It does not estimate or inflate figures.

What data does attribution use?

Order-level data such as order IDs, order dates, and order totals. Proof does not store customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other direct customer identifiers.

Why does my dashboard show $0 at first?

Organic content takes time to index and rank in search. Most stores see their first blog-driven sale within roughly 2–4 weeks, and results compound from there.

Can I export my attribution data?

Yes, on the Scale plan, which includes CSV attribution export.

Plans, pricing & billing

How much does Proof cost?

Three plans, each billed monthly or yearly (yearly is two months free): Starter is $19/month or $190/year; Growth is $39/month or $390/year; Scale is $99/month or $990/year.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — every plan includes a 7-day free trial.

What's the difference between the plans?

Starter covers up to 8 posts/month with Search Console insights and basic attribution. Growth adds up to 20 posts/month, the full ROI attribution dashboard, autopilot publishing, and custom brand voice. Scale adds up to 30 posts/month, multi-author voice profiles, advanced SEO schema, and CSV attribution export.

How is billing handled?

Through Shopify's billing. Proof never sees or stores your payment card details.

Can I cancel anytime, and what happens to my data?

Yes, you can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of your billing period. Your historical revenue and attribution data always remains visible and exportable — it is never wiped or hidden behind a paywall when you cancel.

Data & privacy

What data does Proof access?

Your store and catalog data, the content records it creates, order-level attribution data, and — only if you connect it — Google Search Console metrics. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

Is my customers' personal data stored?

No. Proof does not store direct customer identifiers such as names or emails.

What happens to my data if I uninstall Proof?

When you uninstall, Proof permanently deletes all data associated with your store.
