Welcome to Proof. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Proof Shopify Application (“App”), developed and operated by Simlyst (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By installing the App on your Shopify store, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Description
Proof is an automated content-generation and revenue-attribution tool. The App connects to your Shopify product catalog to generate on-brand blog posts and connects to Google Search Console and Shopify order APIs to track traffic and attribute revenue.
2. Merchant Responsibility for Drafts
While Proof is designed to generate factual, catalog-grounded content, you are solely responsible for reviewing, approving, and publishing all blog drafts. We are not liable for any inaccurate claims, copyright compliance, or factual errors in content published on your store.
3. Intellectual Property
Generated Content: Once a blog post is published on your store, you own the full copyright to that text content.
The Technology: All rights, titles, and interests in the App’s algorithms, generation workflows, dashboard designs, and software remain the exclusive property of Simlyst.
4. Billing and Subscriptions
Shopify Billing: All fees and charges for the App are handled securely through the Shopify Billing API.
Plan Changes: You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time inside the App settings. Downgrades or cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
Refunds: Refund requests are subject to Shopify’s standard App Store policies and terms.
No Outside Billing: We do not offer or accept any off-platform billing methods.
5. Search Engine & API Policies
We do not guarantee specific organic ranking positions, traffic volumes, or sales increases.
We are not liable for changes in search engine algorithms (including Google Search Console, Google Search, or AI Overviews) that may affect your store’s visibility.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Simlyst shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data loss, or server downtime.
